Jeremy Browne MP has visited a new cafe set up by Taunton Association for the Homeless to see first hand how the charity is helping local homeless people.

Jeremy commented;

"Taunton Association for the Homeless has done fantastic work locally to support those in need of shelter and support.

"The cafe was opened recently by Taunton's Mayor, so I was keen to get a first look at the new facilities. It forms part of a wider investment programme in Lindley House and the old Victoria Arms pub next door, and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by both staff and volunteers.

"I was also impressed to find out that local pupils from Bishops Fox's School were undertaking work experience at TAH. The Association has clearly become a successful community venture. It is a testament to them that Taunton now boasts some of the best facilities to support the homeless in Somerset."
