Jeremy Browne MP has visited the Royal Air Force Association's Taunton branch to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain and help promote the organisation's efforts to support serving and retired personnel. He said;

"RAFA's annual Wings Appeal raises money to support welfare service for air force personnel and I was delighted to be attend the appeal's coffee morning. It was especially poignant given that this year also marks 70 years since the Battle of Britain.

"The Taunton branch is a thriving club that has seen the biggest increase in membership of any branch in the South West. We are privileged to have such vibrant charitable organisations supporting our armed services in Taunton Deane."
